£1000 sounds like a rip off as you can buy another van for that. Source the panels from eBay or local panel suppliers and remove the old bits yourself then pay a welder something like £20 an hour. The sliding door inner sill is an easy panel to made if you have a folder

I unfortunately do not have a folder so any chance you have a picture of one so I know what it looks like this is what I've found so far

I got both driver and passenger front arch panels for £75 the pair so shop around and this is the folder I've used to repair my van https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/cmf24-s ... al-folder/

Try dieselhead for the parts you need.

They are in this thread somewhere. N

Click on the link Ned posted and go to page 3, the slinging door inner sill is near the bottom of the page

Welding takes practice and the main issue is finding good metal to weld too

Aye its not difficult to weld but it takes patience and practice to weld well, a good welding machine is a must. N

You need a gas mig welder as it helps the weld flow

As above....
Welding isn't difficult IF you can do it... However the rust you can see is likely to be the tip of the iceberg as, it usually starts inside.
Cut back as far as you NEED to otherwise you'll be doing it again in the near future.

If I don't have any luck finding a welder I might try doing it myself then
