14 plate mk7 revs when you press clutch

Why switch it off ?? It doesn't do it when your driving and It's perfect for traffic jams , engine ticks over in 3rd gear at 10mph perfect or if slower traffic use 1st or 2nd

On my mk8 with the 3.1 diff it’s bad when you are reverseing up hill in a tight place it’s sh@t yourslipping the clutch when there is no need to their is to much computer control that the drive should manage him or her self don’t get me wrong I am not against technology bur some times if you are a capable drive you don’t need the driver aids you need to decide what you need as a driver

There must be a switch on the clutch so maybe unplug it and see if it registers a fault code

Mine has cruse control so switch has to operate to switch it off to charge gear and cut throttle
