hi folks
I've had the usual "I can't unlock the sliding door" problem that has been posted on here before. However, I though that if I fiddled with the latch, added some lube and flipped it about a bit, this may help. However I have managed to close the lock piece with the door open and now I can't shut the side door as the lock is locked shut. Any suggestions please?

Unlock it by pulling outward on the lug while opening by the handle. You might need a friend to help and a piece of coat hanger wire

I did it through a combination of pulling on the lug, the wire, cleaning the contracts and bridging them with some metal (so it thought it was shut) and then clicking the fob a few times.
.. and got it shut before it got dark.
