If you scroll down the page on the link I posted it explains the et offset, if you have 8j your wheels are 8" wide and are going to protrude the arches  N

8) tyres fitted as well, are they 16's? They will go on the transit studs but the studs won't be centred in the hole hence why the need redrilling, where aboits are you in this big bad world. N

I can't find the post now but I did lift this image from it awile ago

Basically the studs bolt to the landrover pcd holes and there are 5 X 3mm holes at the 160 pcd, so you bolt the jig to the wheel and drill through the 3mm hole so you then have a pilot hole in the wheel to drill it at the correct diameter for the transits studs. N

For now I'm just going to add a strip of rubber on the arch to keep them legal, once I get a few days off and have decided of I 100% like them then I might either cut the arches and weld in extra steel or get some 4X4 plastic arch extensions.

Just need to have a 65mm hole drilled in the steel centre disc to make them hubcentric for the transit. N

It'll look mean sticking out  they might not be too bad with 205 tyres on, maybe 10mm wider then the arch which will look pretty 8) N

If you don't want the steering to go all to cock, the new ET must equal the old ET plus 1/2 the tyre bead width increase at the rim. E.g swap standard Transit 6 1/2" in place of 5 1/2" and the ET is 6mm greater to compensate.

If it doesn't the steering geometry will need altering to suit if you don't want odd behaviour and tyre wear.
