Epic pump removal

Postby Steve the welder » Sun Jul 01, 2018 8:45 pm

Hi-ford transit 1998 long wheel base 2,5td 190l
My name is steve -
Im a self employed welder living in spain.
My problem is that many years ago i was advised to get rid of the epic pump and replace it with a nanual pump .
Works well bet ive since noticed i have no vacum to the egr valve!.
I belive thjs is due to having disconnected the block of wires from the old pump.
Everything else works fine, any ideas what wires from the block i could joknt to trick the ecu to give a vacum?
Thanks in advance.

Easier to just blank off the EGR valve, I would have thought
