05 plate transit connect towbar fitting

Hi all I am just new to site and was hoping for some help if possible. I have been trying to fit towbar but bolts won't go into threaded section on chassis think threads have rusted away . Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to secure the towbar to the chassis thanks for any help brian

Squirt some oil in the holes or try to retap to clean the dirt of the thread .
Otherwise use smaller size bolts (not recommended . You loose loading capacity .)
Done mine some years ago but I've used tow bar and bolts from a same donor van .
