mk6 rocker cover gasket question

Postby Tricky4511 » Tue Aug 07, 2018 8:03 pm

I have a crack in my rocker cover so i have got a second hand one off ebay. I cant seem to find a link to the whole kit I need. are the bolt stretch bolts or can i use the origonals.

Would i need to remove the injectors to fit this or just move the pipes out the way and slide the cover to the back of the engine

just re use the bolts.& bend the injector pipes out of the way,i have just fitted a rocker cover to my van,as mine was cracked along the centre holes,i would fit new seals around your injectors, fit the seal after the rocker cover is bolted down,as with the seals out, there is more movment to fit the cover, :)
