Diesel repair in Essex???

Hi I have a 2.5 DI engine in need of assistance. The diesel fitter (and friend) I have always used has recently passed away and now I am having issues with my land rover in which the engine is fitted.
I need to find a diesel fitter that I can trust and who won't rip me off, out of choice I need to find someone in Essex that can help repair my engine but I am willing to go further afield if you know someone you can trust.

The issue is that the engine revs at idle and pumps out white smoke, I have changed the fuel pump but the issue remains. I now believe that the problem is with an open injector (Stanadyne injectors)?
