2.5 Di Turbo

Hi,
I just wanted to know if an 80's/90's 2.5 DI transit was 'properly turbo'd' as in a boost control pump. the pump fitted to my engine is a Bosch VE pump and it does not have the facility to add fuel as the boost increases. I have looked at the 200tdi as fitted to the land rover and they have a boost controlled Bosch VE pump, I wonder if this could be fitted??? Has anyone fitted a boost controlled pump to this engine???
