Umm don't know if I want one now with the extra noise and heavier steering. Mine gets nosy now at any thing above 50 :? Is it possible with sound proofing to get it to a reasonable level :?:

Will the steering be very much heavier? I find it nice and light at the minite :)

My little van is a pig to steer at slow speeds as I am use to PAS on all my cars and the big van. You'll soon have big arms though :D

You don't need to do the bullnose front. You can cut away at the engine bulkhead and make a new one further back. The different front is probably easier though.

What happened to the LPG idea?

Would it be best inside the bulkhead/firewall or outside in the engine bay :?:

Or both :?:

I know, but it just seems/looks so heavy and not very aerodynamic :!:

He'll be getting nowhere fast

I still have the LPG kit I want to fit that to the 2.5 Diesel engine if thats possible if not I will sell it and buy another one. I will be posting some pictures of it in my proress report soon.

If I remove the firewall to fit the engine in place how far back would the firewall have to be moved back? I take it the engine mounts would also have to be moved back.

I think I will stick to the 2.5 Di and insulate it well against the noise.

I have never had a car or van with Power steering yet but I do find the Mk 1 steering nice and light :) Would like to keep it that way :?

I think you've as much chance of getting a LPG kit designed for a pinto pertrol engine to work on a 2.5 diesel as I have of winning Miss World.
