Oil Change 2023

Postby boiledowl » Tue Sep 26, 2023 1:04 pm

Is the factory oil filters and oil pan plugs super hard to get off for it's first oil change? I don't want to get in the position of mangling the filter so much it won't hold oil than still not being able to get it off. Not looked yet is there , is there room for a filter wrench etc> Thanks

Till I was over 50 by hand nowadays filter strap the type you use a ratchet and extension but even with any of the removal tools sometimes they are that tight you end up splitting them for the sump plug use a 6 point socket
