found anouther problem today on top of the engine where the throttle flaps are there is like a flying saucer looking valve with 2 pipes coming off one going to the throttle body and one goin to the oil filler pipe where it brethes and both of them were blocked solid do you think that will help?? what does that valve do??

until you can find where the air is getting in, i would recommend parking it facing down hill :wink:

hiya mr m puk as you have most of the knowlege on here somebody said to me today about checking the timing on the fuel pump they said you time it by turnibg the whole pump system is that right? :?

I'm thinking along these lines too :!:

Check the pipes from the fuel lift pump on the passenger side of the engine up to the filter housing, and from there to the pump carefully. See if you can tighten the connections a bit :?:

Does anyone know for sure if this problem can be caused by a faulty lift pump :?:
