could well be injectors, if they are the originals, who read the codes for you, was it with ids, i take it it wasnt, as it would of told you what the code means,....

Code read by Brothers Snap-on code reader. i did know the code was for injector circuit malfunction but i did think it would of put up a code for the individual injectors? not injector circuit malfunction. Also to have two injectors suddenly to stop seemed odd!

there could still be codes to be read,..do a search for leak off test, that will tell you a bit about injectors.... could be best to have injectors cleaned and tested approx £25ea at diesel specilist, to rule them out...at 100,000 there about past there best,, new injectors £200+ea at ford, bit cheaper at delphi specilist, maybe have them refur by them.ive got same van and had 4 sets 190,000. they are very tempremental....if you take them out remember which cylinder they come from as they are coded to the cylinders they come from(just in case you didnt no).bar doin the leak of test, hang on a little while befor you spend any money see if one of the transit techs comes up with anything.

p0200 is grouped injector fault, possible it is the injectors but check all your wiring and connections thourouly 9/10 times its an earth fault to the injectors as they share the same wire. pull your harness back if need be you will eventually see a bad wire (corroded) or chaffed if i remember right check where th loom goes over the vac pump area. hope this helps :D

Well, all was well for about two weeks with no problems, Injectors where checked and ok, Wiring loom was checked and all ok, but the problem came back this evening ie not running on number 2 and 3 cylinder??. As said before i think they use a comman earth, is it possable to run new earth wires from 2 and 3 injector to the body or do they have to earth in the ECU??

Cheers

Right just checked the voltage coming down the wires to the injectors, no1 5.1 volts on each wire no2 1.6 volts on each wire no3 same as 2 and 4 same as 1 SO Iam now thinking it is the ECU??

Only just got the van back!! Not ECU or wiring but a dead short on number 3 injector which was telling ECU to shut down this injector but the ECU also shut down number 2injector as they share a common live...
Any way van runs perfect...
