ive fitted a mondeo/transit tdci pump to the connect/focus engine, the only difference is the connect pump is cone shaped behind the pump sprocket fitting, when using the mondeo pump, the 3 pump retaining bolts need to have 2/3mm cut of the end. other than that theres no problems, i fitted one to a mates van last year and its still driving round fine now.

tHINK THE return pipe connection needs changing for original aswell.

Hi, I have found early warning signs of immenant fuel pump failure and have done some digging but I'm after some confirmation. Basically I have a tourneo connect, 90psi lx diesel tdci.
I have been told that a newer Delphi fuel pump would literally be bolt on plug and play. It currently has the Delphi one fitted. So is this true and would a second hand pump be adviced against or not a problem? The one I'm looking at has done 55,000 miles worth of pumping.
