mk7 engine managment light how to turn it off

hi folks ive got a 2006 m7 transit 85 300 and the engine management light has came on how can i turn it off?ive hav a focus an my exhaust trips my mil light evrey now and again so i pull a fuse out for 10 mins and that sorts it out is there any thing like that on the transit?

have you thought why its came on :!: have your codes read see if there is a problem

the light came on last week but went out so i got the codes read and ford couldnt find anything wrong no faults!then driving home to night it came on again jus thot there might have bin a easy way of turning it off without costing me £35 for ford ta say there nothing wrong

turning ignition off ,normaly would turn light off,is there no problems whats so ever ,no slight miss fires :?:
some times you do get a glitch,and light will come on,check all connections to sensors,etc,check connections to foot pedals also,
take note if it happens again when it came on etc ,

thanks for that il have a look at it tomoro i cant say ive noticed if it was running ruff the only thing ive noticed is the fan has bin a bit more than normal :?:

Try and take it to get codes read whilst light is on :wink:

thanks for all the tips and advice folks i went to the van this morn and the light was off so its booked in to another garage for thur just to see if they can pick up on anything the van drives spot on i cant see anything wrong with it only thing i can see is when i turn it off it makes a clicking noise just after the engine stops could any 1 shed some light on the clicking noise?

It's supposed to give a "scratching it's self" noise for a couple of seconds after switch off :!:
It will be the self cleaning action of the EGR valve :wink:
