Can I take this opportunity to thank Peter for arranging the day out at the Transit Van plant today, a truly fantastic day was had by all, a thanks goes out also to our guide, a very knowlgeable man who also expressed an interest in some of our concerns.

Echo that, Thanks for making it possible Peter and again to Ford and the guides. With health and safety, production targets and all that, it really is something to manoevre twenty or so Transit geeks around a fully operational (or not so at times) production line.

It was quite something to see a Transit in the womb so to speak and awsome to see a complete engine/axle install in four minutes.

The trip wasn't without heartache. All those parts just lying around desperate for a good home in my van. :(

Long live Rock 'n' Transit. :D
