Had a good old rummage through the boxes and boxes of stuff they have, I could move in! It's like a cross between our spare room and halfords! The phome goes none stop, and somehow the guys behind the counter know where everything is, even though they might not be able to get to it! Got two brand new Mk1 wiper switches for £5 each. They have a Mk1 harvey frost recovery outside too,

Update - Collectors Car Parts are due to close in a month or so. When I heard I called them to see if they would do a deal on a job lot of parts but they are adamant the parts will go to an auction house (live, not online) and be sold off.

Popped down there today and had a chat with Howard........really friendly, helpful, learned something new and all I can say it's a good job that silly runway has been put off :!: (at least for now)
Really nice to be able to talk to a traditional shopkeeper that knows about what he's selling and at prices you can afford :!:
The Harvey Frost MK1 Transit is up for sale :!: (one for Fred :?: )

And :!:

NO THIRD RUNWAY
NOT CLOSING
NOT MOVING !!!

I also asked him about getting a master cylinder repair kit for a '96 Rover 400.....................his reply was..............."nothing that new, I'm afraid".............Music to my ears :!:
