new van! well s reg new to me!

our lass is starting her own bissness and was wanting a van as i think we all would i was adamant it had to be a transit!! this afternoon chance of one came now own a mk5 swb 120 (was on ebay earla in scarbrough) it's bit ruff around the edges but nowt that cart be fixed al see if i can put a link up its been removed but think this might work.

where happy enough but will need to get busy glad the lighter nights are coming
its gonna need some welding to the under side dint look to hard but saw a patch or two
needs the arches sorting but its just looks to be nasty rust thats ran down the wing gonna get g3 on her and see if she brightens up a bit inside needs a good scrub al keep you all posted on the van van hope to be able to get some pcd adaptors and put a nice set of 5 spokes on her masitalys maybe tsw stealth's
but thats just a idea for future weather that will happen i don't know

got 3/4 of the way round her today with a roller she's mostly red now dint get no pics as it come in dark will put some on after ave give her another coat and wet n dryed her off then g3d it should look alf alright better than it does in them photos

As some of you may know ave had a smash in my pick up a few weeks back . And have been sent a merc sprinter, so been using that for the last week hopped in this tonight to take her for a run, the smileys put a smile on my face! Was thinking of going new since driving the sprinter but jumping in the van tonight was like putting on a old shoe i was at home! no progress to report as yet as been busy with other stuff but will try and get it flatted back this weekend (weather permitting) And try and get a bit of shine to the paint, also need to look at a sticky hand break cable, mot time soon so will really have to pull my finger out

chears bud not done out on it for last week or so been busy working and that but hopefully if things go quiet this sunday al get cracking

finally made a start on the arches today brayed out all the rot and got busy with some finerglass and filler not got done yet as got distracted and had too nip out but now ave started al have to finish, heres some pics from today hopefully al pop some on tomorra of it finished,

this has now been filleted but lights not good enough for a good picture

managed to finish the arches today, there not as clever as i would of hope'd for but defiantly better than they was before, been meaning to do it for weeks now but just kept putting it off. Van looks better but the wheel arches and a few other scabs that i dealt with have red oxide on and will paint over again tomorrow, here some pics but dint manage to get any taken of them done just the alf way stages

Hello not posted on here in a while since my last report I have been using van trouble free other than a prob shaft baring letting go, I have fitted a set of alloys and wound up fuel flow and pressure and removed egr well worth doing here's a pic in current state
