Its only a prototype at the moment  If I decide to keep it I may make it a bit bigger so its flush with the grill surround top n bottom, cant decide if lower case will look better (ford style lettering) :P N

Got some goodies t'other day thanks to Dirtydog
WP_20170624_11_49_00_Pro.jpg

Fitted the radio box, just need to carpet the roof lining
WP_20170626_16_13_00_Pro.jpg

Started to wire in the gauges, just waiting for the boost gauge to arrive then I can run the wires to the sensors
WP_20170626_18_09_01_Pro.jpg

Big white is voltage, the purple 3 are oil pressure, oil temperature and water temperature the hole on the right is awaiting the boost gauge.
Now got the problem of where to fit the lidl clock, internal/external temperature thingy

Also thinking this might be a useful mod to the van
C__Data_Users_DefApps_AppData_INTERNETEXPLORER_Temp_Saved Images_imagesHTE1SICX.jpg

Might get the van finished one day. N

You might need a new water temp sensor, the one with the separate gauge may not work. Wasn't sure if it was the sensor or the gauge somthe company I bought it from just sent out a complete new one.

Radio box tidies it up nicely 8)

I've got the part number for that door pocket written down somewhere

I thought it was a passenger side one put on the drivers side  I'll test the temp sensors but temporary wiring them in and popping the sensor in some warm water :D a nice job for weekend.

I have now cut the roof lining so it stops just before the radio box, it does neaten it up a bit doesn't it. N

There a nice colour aren't they, they would suit a nice red custom  I have to wire the sensors in yet and hope it doesn't go horribly wrong. N

I'd have to get red ones :-)i had been looking for mini gauges but not really seen any.
I've opted for digital display tho, yes i prefer mechanical gauges but i might be able to make a nice little display, we'll see. :-)

This is what I have
WP_20170629_20_39_23_Pro.jpg

I think you get the temp sensors included but not sure on the oil pressure sensor, dirtydogs the man to ask I bought them from him

The sensors aren't too expensive, water/oil temp about £4, oil pressure about £10-20 plus the adapter pieces, you can get a pipe that fits in the water pipe that is designed for the water temp sensor for £2.79. N
