 Well almost, failed on 2 things, one i should have seen , yhe other must have been a microscope job, the front passenger seat anchor or mounting at the front right of it, it needs a little plate, we are talking a hole half a centimetr long by 2mm wide , if i had noticed it before i would have shoved me chewing gom on it, and the back of the chassis right behind the rear hanger where it meets the back cross piece, i actually welded near there and for some mad reason missed it, still breaks all round excellent, and so yhey should bethe ammount of time i spent on them, and the emmissions was, well ill tell you that when someone can tell me what the average sort of reading is on a 2.5di, i reckon mine was good though :D , thats it really a couple of bits of advice , like me props got wear, so all in all not bad, ill sort that over the weekend and have it back in next week for a partial check, another 27 pound unfortunately but what can you do

I take it nobody knowsa about the paint question, ill find out and when i do i will share the info with anyone asking, :D , just changed me quadrant, simple but bloody awkward is all i can say to that, as i say prop shaft is next, doesnt seem to be a warn uni joint so it must be a sline warn, although this is apparently rare, could just need grease on the spline, hope its not too late other wise ill be looking out for a front sectiopn of a 3 centre prop. :(

Whatever paint you choose, (preferably not household gloss), slap it on rough with a large brush, then use a good quality (wool) roller to smooth it out. Won't be as good as a spray job obviously, but seems to work quite well. 8) I'd have thought approx. 4 litres per coat (?)

Im thinking of spraying the van in primer, then going to the panel shop and get a quote for them to just spray directly on. If thats too expensive get a quote for 5lt of metalic paint to roller on my self
