If you really love your truck you can extend the chassis.(cost me £500 to get mine extended on my LWB).Means you can carry estate cars without the back of car hanging over rear of truck which traffic division are not keen on.
There's a maximum allowed dimension between rear wheels and end of beavertail too.If you extend chassis you can legally have a longer, sloping run up which helps prevent sports cars & flat tyres bottoming out.
Alternatively sell yours and buy a long wheelbase.
I carry a variety of cars so I'd go for extension to get ideal set up, but loads of people use a beavertail body fitted straight to a LWB cab & chassis.
Here's a link to a good thread by ARTCARCOM on here if you fancy doing it yourself...http://fordtransit.org/forum ... 27&t=15633
And here's mine.http://fordtransit.org/forum/viewt ... =60There's a pic in there somewhere of Mondeo estate on the back to give you an idea.Tt's a LWB with 700mm extension.
