My brother said the doors will make it easy to get the pallet forks through when lifting her on to the scrap wagon. (He likes vw)

I am going to fit a reversing camera(In case I hit the towel rail  ) and like the ones that replace the number plate light, Anyone fitted these as im unsure how to get the cable from the door to the van itself, Any ideas.

Not sure, The plug for the camera is quite large so ill have to order one and try it.
Another question,
Is it possible to turn off the outside low temp warning that comes up on the dash when it gets a bit nippy, I know its cold and dont need some poxy warning light and buzzer to remind me.

Had the same problem with the floor. None of the screws would shift, so I just left it down and built over it

Very nice van, I always wondered what mine would look like after a clean and now I know. I’m converting mine to a camper/day van as well but progress is very slow – hopefully get more done when the clocks change and there’s more daylight to play with after work. Twin doors are great but I’ve found it difficult to plan furniture etc. because the doors are massive so anything permanent has to fit neatly in the back section somehow.

Guts, you could build your kitchen over the sliding door you don't generally use, then use the sliding door for access to the rear of the unit for changing water, gas etc.

Yeah, bigjohnthomas & tonylem you're both very right and that was my original plan but once you've used two, there's no going back!
