The 3 strikers where 10 quid, my bonnet latch assembly will be about 15, they havent seen the runner yet, but it does depend on how much work goes into them I suppose

They are called Action Platers in Basildon, I havent got any details, I just go in there in my diner break, maybe search for them in google, or I'll get their number tomorrow. Mind you, Im sure you could get zinc plating done closer to you

Having some more plating done this week, but in the meantime, I decided to tackle the fuel pump supply problem, which started on the way to the Transit Plant trip late last year. Not sure if its the alarm cutting it off or the supply to alarm, so I had good look through it all but I still couldnt see what the problem is and I was getting cold, so when I got home form work tonight, I ended up pulling the dash out... 24 years worth of extra wiring, yes some of it mine, but at least it was all spiral wrapped  Cutters and soldering iron will be out in the evenings this week I reckon :(

Good to see some other peoples pain  came home tonight a bit late, just couldnt face it, plus I couldnt find my soldering gun, so good excuse to have a night off from it. Did manage to get the central locking and electric windows loom rerouted and clipped up under the original loom along the screen, but that was the easy bit.

Nah, I would like to find a better one, mine has scratches and superglue on it from its days as a cladding van
Thinking about openning up the heater matrix and checking it out while its in bits, it started to leak a long time back then stopped again, be silly not to check it out now, although Im told you can remove them on a MK3 with the dash in :D plus I have a spare in the shed, thanks to Captain Hook.

Took all the injection banjo bolts plus a few bits & bobs from the engine, along with the bonnet catch, in to the platers today, looking forward to picking them up in a couple of days
This is what the bolts look like before hand, sorry camera was on manual focus
