Small update time
Had some really bad rust on the rear crossmember and when prodded it turned into some sizeable holes

luckily minormatt came to my rescue and welded it all up for me, so big thanks to Matt.
My oil filter seal also gave up and had a huge oil leak, new filter and oil and all is well again.
Latest mod is some rear speakers, I did have some fli speakers in the garage that I was going to use but one of them got squashed some how

so went and bought some 17cm ripspeed ones from halfords for just £22. Made up a couple of boxes from MDF, the sides, top and bottom are 18mm and the front is 9mm as that's what I already had in the garage. I didn't want to leave them plain but couldn't be arsed to paint them so I covered them in some black vinyl material that I also had in the garage.
Took just a couple of hours altogether and this is what I finished with

My stereo sounds much better now although I may upgrade my door speakers again. Doors have got speakers from maplins at the moment.
Also fitted a new steering wheel as the original looked like the previous owner had beenchewing on it! Got one of the chunkier steering wheels from a lwb.
Have changed the LEDs in the switches to brighter ones and also fitted a proper transit fog light switch.
I now have 1 set of driving lights and 2 sets of fog lights fitted

Have also changed the front clear indicators for some decent clear ones (I thought one looked a bit wonky so pushed on it and broke the fitting tabs) and chrome bulbs.
Reversing camera also fitted and working now.
Split charge system also fitted and working, powering my 1000w inverter with no problems.
The problem of the alarm going off whenever it was unlocked by the drivers door is now sorted. It was just down to a very worn key. Big thanks to bancroftlocksmiths for cutting me a new key and swapping the chip over and for cutting me a spare key as well.
MOT time on Saturday
