Transitmania - Its the annual Transit show held over a weekend, at Billing Aquadrome near Northampton. Probably the greatest show of Transits on the planet  OK OK I may have been drinking from a green and white can. No hang on, it is a the largest show...

Right guys, I have had to get the van back out again while i repaired the rangey again, now got her back in and sent the tax back so i don't get it out again!! the wind broke the end off my grill in the windy storm so i'v had to get another one!

so she's now in the garage after getting stuck in the mud trying to get it back in,,,, not fun took a day to edge it in inch by inch.

Right now, I have been looking at how i get the door off, but the pins seem very tough in and bent my screwdriver! is there an easy way to get the front doors off???
hope someone can help as i plan to crack on tomorrow,
cheers guys

best way is to take them off complete with the hinges  :D the nuts are accesed from inside the A panel for the bottom ones you need to remove the trim to get to them, i think they are 13mm sockets :D

That's right :D 13mm (deep socket required for at least one of them) and the top ones hide behind the mirror trim (just ahead of the mirror it's self :)

But it's NOT a job you can do on your own :?: :?

yer i thought so! i was looking today took the plastic trims off inside footwell and over hinge in front of mirror. the one inside has a metal plate with a load of wires behind it and i couldn't undo the screw to get the plate off so was hoping the pins come out!
I need to get a new plastic trim for in front of the mirrors each side but can't find any on ebay does anyone know where i can get them as mine are naff?
I will try and get some help or jack and hang the door from floor and roof to support it before unbolting!
owww it's exciting!!!
anyone on here is welcome to come and play, in return i'll let them use my shed to do their van after (as long as it's not in too long!
I now have a massive amount of toolage! including my new welder and bigger compressor!! cant wait to fire them up!
