As far as I know, a "slam lock" is permenantly in the "locked" mode, so you never need to lock it :!:

Can't see why it can't be disabled/disconected to let the C/L do it's job :!: :D

its in locked mode permanently but you have to hold the key to open it so not sure if it would work

whats the cost counter like?

how much did the paint cost, what sort of place did you buy it from?
When this baby hits 88mph were gonna see some serious sh*t!

hi im back i have been very busy and just got the van back so its now at fathers in final stages.

Cost to date is about £3000

Weighed it up against something else and thought sod it i will do it this way.

You know buy a van 4-6 year old looks and drives the part . 2 years later your 5000 u spent is worth like 2350 and the new van is showing rust on its 7th year and needs like 1200 a year spending on it.

Frankly i know the costs of mk5s and i think im concerned to buy a mk 6 at present because of parts costs .And i wouldnt know the van id bought . And im starting to see many 2002 platers showing rust badly
