good work, I'm like you I need my van for other things other than camping in, so everything in my van is removable so i can use it as a van, nothing in, or as a camper or as a dog transporter, which is what I do.
My system is beds across the van, made up so one folds over the other on hinges, supported by simply wood blocks, drawers with ply on top to make work top with two ring cooker, teal water heater, chemical toilet (for emergency use only) :x , water containers , no pumps!, strip lights, simple but effective, awning fitted to side.
I've used it several times with my son for wild camping and I and the better half have just had a week in Cornwall on proper site and all went well, great!! all the effort was worth it.
I need to get some foam for the bed, lilo's keep going down, but it seems to be very exspensive, anyone got any info on a cheap supplier!!!
keep up the good work and keep us posted.

Just keep watching ebay and freecycle for some old caravan cushions. I managed to bag a load for a tenner a good source of foam.

I would say they're about 3X2' each.
I'm near jcn8 M25 some of the time, and near Cambridge the rest of the time.
I'm at Wicksteed Park in Kettering this weekend.

looking good mate, but i would cut a couple of bits of 2x2 to wedge in the bottom of the boxes so the uprights cannot possibly move, but thats me, i dont take any chances with my sleep

I'm gonna add a couple more of the small angle ally for the centre uprights soon,
