cheers mate! welded a bit in too but for some reason it's splattering alot, seems like no gas is getting through, do you by any chance know if the gas flows constant on a mig or just when you pull the trigger? tried feeling for it but it don't seem to be flowing,
new welder new gas bottle etc,,, so i didnt film it as it's not a tidy weld!!

looking forward to tomorrow!!

sounds like maybe you have no gas or the feed up too high if you disconnect the wire feed and press the trigger you should be able to hear the gas coming out

as I thought it was gas, spent half of the day wasting time trying to get a regulator got one as mine wasn't working even tho it's new!!
anyway the welder seems much better now, even though for an hour it decided to just click and not feed wire, and it wasn't even hot! but i kicked it and it works now!! perhaps it don't like the cold!

done a bit of welding just trying to load the vid, I just hope it's all lined up ok otherwise it'll look shite when i put door back on!! will get vid up asap but youtube is pissin me about now and just says prosessing 0%!!! ahhhhhhh I give up today!!

today i spent ages trying to get the 2 end bolts out of the bumper to get it off, in the end i was so peed off as i couldn't see what I was cutting I ripped the buggers out much easier and less damage than the one i tried cutting!!! then I welded the wing piece in and ground down the welds, then just as the light was again going I slapped a bit of filler in to fill the joins and welds,




was a bit chilly though today!
