You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

the bases of a good project is 2 start off with the best shell/cab/chassie u can find for the price ur willing 2 pay.

cab has been tarted up abit but it was only £1200 with a yrs m.o.t & is plenty good enough for what i want it for. main this is its solid! 8)

it now has extra leafs fited to the rear springs so it will carry the weight better.
also all the mounts points have been made to fix the bed 2 the chassie

the body should be being started this week (maybe 2morra)

more pics 2 come

propshaft is now a 5 peice propshaft with 2 new added short transit prop peices in middle. just g-clamped up to find positions of the donuts so the supports could be welded in.

Whats the score with the ministry of Transport as the chassis of the vehicle is being heavily modifed? Does it need any sort of inspection after (with regards to the lengthening)

Mine had a similar bit put in, my bed is 16'5" , your problem will be weight, I am at 2060 empty. I have put more than 2 tons on, but any thinf=g over 1440 kg is illegal.
