engine is now sitting on its mounts in van and I'm well pleased ,got a few minor adjustments to do
electrician came today and removed what was left of the wiring from the lexus and taken it away with him
so hopefully this weekend should start to see some wiring going on in van
while he has loom gives me chance to fit fuel lines and tank
measure up propshaft and exhausts
so all been well should be running by end of month.

for those of you who aint on face book
van is now up and running
took it on a first test flight and couldn't give it too much as no brakes and sitting on a plastic garden chair.
so last night bled brakes after replacing everything from the master cylinder, shoes, pads even brake pipes
she now stops well.shouldve been making seat bases today but couldn't resist another test flight (still plastic garden seating lol)
but a quick blast around the estate was very impressed with power and handling .gave it a quick blast and reached 80 quite easily with a hell of a lot to go
just gotta change power steering pump lexus one dosnt seem to like transit rack so gotta fabricate mount and a pulley set up in week
shouldn't be too much of a prob tho
exhausts should be finished tomorrow had to fit a Cpl of decibel reducers as it was rather loud
dash is half way there as ive had to scratch build one but lexus clocks look cool
4 weeks to transitmania and still a fair bit to do but will be there

nice one pat :D

can't think why the lexus pas pump wont work with the transit rack - my toyota one was fine and i would have thought they (toyota/lexus) would be similar
