Stick one of the cheap valve lube kits on it or use an additive to save the valves and just enjoy the ride.

Had a look and like the idea of the lube kit as it takes some of the guesswork out, has anyone ever used one? Is the liquid they sell with it the right stuff and can you tee in or do you have to drill a hole into the carb?

Hi Chaps sorry it's been so long since i contacted you but i have had so
much to do over the last eighteen months since we moved down south.
I have missed you all very much & when i have finished all the work i
have got to finish i will probably be to old to drive "hopefully not"
I took eve to an m o t station down here & she failed on things i new
about. The headlight main beam warning light & rear fog warning light
did not work so i fitted l e d lights blue & red respecktively.
Hope to catch up with you in the near future love to all Raymondo.

I've got a vacuum based drip feed one (that I never got round to fitting) and the other halfs car runs a posh electronic one.
Given your luck with things i would go for the electronic one as theres less chance of it randomly dumping its contents into the inlet manifold while the engine is turned off just to be awkward.
we go through about 2l every 10,000 miles with the Lexus
