May have had a stroke of luck this afternoon. Talking to the builder that lives over the back of montgomery towers who has a mk4 lwb flatbed. The truck is knackered but he uses it for shifting stuff across the village due to the lack of radiator :lol: .
He just gave me a full exhaust ( New ) he bought I for his but its not worth saving. £10 if it fits £5 if it doesn't. :lol:

Well that's good then. Will try to get started on the interior after Christmas and soon as the discovery is MOTed

Could well be up for sale in the new year depending on a new contract. This zipping to London village and back in the discovery is killing it, if it wasn't half dead already. May have to invest in Lezzer compliant Van or a large estate and a tow a van.
Got a mk5 pickup coming soon to keep me in the clique.

Under bonnet rewire complete!
Auto electrician been out to test everything and we are all good. :D Everything working as it should.
Thought I would take it for a rip round and it turns out the handbrake cable is siezed in the off position, ah well tomorrow is another day.
