May have had a stroke of luck this afternoon. Talking to the builder that lives over the back of montgomery towers who has a mk4 lwb flatbed. The truck is knackered but he uses it for shifting stuff across the village due to the lack of radiator .
He just gave me a full exhaust ( New ) he bought I for his but its not worth saving. £10 if it fits £5 if it doesn't.
Not a bad deal.

Could well be up for sale in the new year depending on a new contract. This zipping to London village and back in the discovery is killing it, if it wasn't half dead already. May have to invest in Lezzer compliant Van or a large estate and a tow a van.

Under bonnet rewire complete!
Auto electrician been out to test everything and we are all good. Everything working as it should.
Thought I would take it for a rip round and it turns out the handbrake cable is siezed in the off position, ah well tomorrow is another day.
