There's something about the MKI I will always like and this is a damned nice example. I saw it in a show once (I think it was actually a bike show at Doncaster) and would like to see it again.

no not yet no ones popped up with any  in the gallery thread old custom vans theres a picture of transformation with a mk1 behind it but the artwork is not same :?: had me thinking because bob cordingley who built transformation had connections or was in originals back then, there was an old diary of 1980 in one of the drawers with meet venues and times 4 nights a week every pub across west yorkshire

put the spare wheel under the back, on the carrier its easy you just open the back door and wind it down o erm who's nicked the door handle i know il just go in the back and wind it down il just have to unbolt this granada light first carefull not to get all this wireing court up in the wheel brace is it down enough il just get out the van walk round the back no not enough il get in the back of the van wind it a bit more then get out of the van to lift it on the carrier then wind it up then bolt the light back in put the wires back on, put the bed back in see so easy thats what i like about fords easy to work on

nice story adam :!:    i got fed up of trippin over the 6th spare alloy there is one in the carrier,, the granada lights unit dont foul the release nut as they are boxed with no wires visable,, access panal thru the bench is above the release nut which has a chrome bar and ratchet on in fixed position ive had mk 1 s that long that i can judge the lowering distance from the inside, winding back is even easier and one other thing the spare on the back can be removed in about 90 seconds with no crawling underneath :!: hope this paints a better picture
