Managed to finish off the n/s pocket yesterday, after some mucking about

Had to reshape and fill in any holes in the wood as the leatherette shows any imperfections, so plenty of filling and rubbing down.

New 12A LED driver fitted inside the roof with sensor for the remote control and managed to make a surround for the front window, just the little problem of how to fix it up with a curtain behind it.

Finished the sides of the van and recovered the front roof lining, just a few little bits left to sort and more LED lighting for the front cabin area, then on to the lower half of the van, but I'm struggling to find the dark carpet the same as the door pads at the moment, thesearch goes on.

Next part of my interior has begun with a trip to Egypt!
Last time I was out here, a friend of mine Honda, had a full refit of his car interior in leather for fraction of the uk, so this got me thinking! No pain either!
I stripped the passenger seat skin off one of my Serria XR4 seats, stuck it in my suitcase, along with a drawing of the design I wanted and jetted off to the sun.
Saturday night, Honda took me across town to the upholstery shop and explained to them exactly what I wanted and that I was leaving in less than a week. After an hour of smoking, drinking and waving arms around, Egyptian style, I had show them what a Ford Serria was! They had never heard of one, let alone seen one. Finally, a price was agreed.

To my surprise, less than 48 hours later, the two sets of covers and headrests where ready, only problem was, I still had a weeks holiday left before I was going home, not sure I could wait that long!

Didn't want to seem eager when I got home, but managed to get one base on today

Just need a nice weekend to rip out the o/s storage box and make some mods. Rear doors need covering but I need to take the windows out, again, another nice day needed

Couple of days of better weather over the last couple of weekends, but I'm still finding it hard to find the enthusiasm to get my arse into gear. Finished the vinyl around the n/s storage box, after rounding all the edges, a little filler and sanding.

Finally fitted both seats in, think I've cut some of the tensioning rods to long, which caused a couple of wrinkles, plus some of the foam is worn out, but I think this settle down after they are in use

Had a little experiment with with some white vinyl
