Proper old
Should have a Granada roof console coming soon with map lights etc, Id like to keep the Fiesta clock if I can, I'll think of something I suppose. Must get a start on the pod is weekend, I just know I'll be playing with my Sons Mini instead

Granada MK2 roof console turned up yesterday, thanks Trigger, so the rare day when the sun was out I thought Id better a bit done. Offered the console up to the ceiling, not a great fit, I didnt fancy cutting the headlining, although it is a bit knackered.
So decided to make a plastic filler section, which gave it the right sort of angle.

Had to cut 2 holes in the headlining in the end, for the backs of the map lights

Got all the lamps up and working, fitted a couple of LEDs bulbs into the map lights, I'll sort the interior lamp out later. Just got to make a loom now for all the warning lamps and have a think about a clock, did think about mounting the old roof clock in the console, Mmmmm maybe oneday  Anyway, can of light grey vinyl paint will finish it off...

Managed to get the dash pod mounted aswel, wasn't keen on drill big holes in the dash, but hey ho...

Thanks guys, not done much of late, had 2 really busy weeks at work, but with the Essex meet tomorrow and what could be the last NW12 next month, thought Id better get a little bit done to the pod...
Cut some textured plastic sheet to size and mounted the Granada MK2 oil pressure and amp meter clocks in, along with the electric windows switches, just to find they arent compatable with the current Granada plug electrics  Got the Ampere gauge wired up and some more LED back lighting in. With this sudden hot weather, I painted the dash surround and the pod infil panel satin black, couldnt find a light grey that matched the pod/dash board, but it looks OK, so Im going to stick with it.

Sadly, I had to chop up a Granada dash facia just to get the bits I wanted, but I wanted the dials to match the fuel/temp ones

Ended up buying 3 from a guy on ebay and might be getting another one if the price is right, I'll let you know if he comes back to me. He says he has other new SVO parts, but he'll find it when he finds it  I have got another secondhand one with all the switches, but no dial and has holes on the top :(
