Been out of cirulation for a while with Pneumonia and im slowly coming back to life cough cough lol. So last week i started looking at my truck again, i had planned on going down the ally body route, but after some thought i decided i could not justify it just yet, i then looked at ripping the steel floor up and replacing it with ally chequer plate, but on close inspection the steel floor has been seriously hard welded to the frame, i decided i ran a risk of twisting the frame doing this so im just running with what ive got, its open deck so hope its not to bad and im going to get some ally ramps folded and i will fab these at home. I will get it all weighed when its finsihed and go from there.
So here are some more pictures of my progress last week and today
Here is the body in high build primer.

And painted black, we used stone chip for the chequer plate then painted over with 2 k black gloss to match the cab as per rest of body

Then today we got the body back on my truck :D .... finally!!!

Hi All, thanks for all the comments! Im still off work so being getting some more done to the truck this last week. Got the seats over to the trimmers for the leather fit, gotto wait a few weeks for them to come back. I fitted the locker box(some where to put my bait!!  :D ), the LED light bar, though i need a sparky to wire this up for me, and took the battery tray out of my donner van and modified, painted then fit, plus loads od snagging jobs, got the air suspension reconected to though i syill need to test this next week, needs a wash and polish, maybe a light rubdown and machine polish if i can convince my paint mate to come back for fun lol.
Heres the pictures i took.

as much as i like euroliners i think alloys would suit this better  8) - if it was mine i'd fit the 5 stud mk5 hubs of the donor (keep your brakes) but get the studs redrilled to mk6 14mm (same as a 3500kg mk6) then fit a mk6 single rear wheel 3500kg back axle
then you could fit 16" transit alloys and legal tyres - it would look great on sportvan alloys but i doubt without the twin rear wheels you could get 18" tyres to be rated high enough for the weight :D
