So I've not really achieved much in the last few weeks but I'm back into it now as I have a deadline.

Need a swivel base for the passenger front seat now and to get the rear seats fitted.

So I have the seats trial fitted. They're bolted in place but I've not made spreader plates for under the floor yet so they can't be used....

After a while of not really getting much done to the van just using it, I have finally got some enthusiasm to get it finished. This week I have fixed the heater that was stuck about 1/2 heat all the time. I've spent a couple of hours this evening pulling all of the dead RAC electrics out. Also fitted some new seats from a celica. In the past few months I've changed the grille for a silver one which looks lots better. I've also fitted a full width rock n roll bed on unwin tracking so I can move it all the way forwards or back or even remove it if needed. Will see if I have some pics ;-)

Looking really good Mate :)

How's that diff doing :?: Did you ever go back to them at Halifax :?:

What did you use for your flooring :?: Looks really Tidy.

I've fitted a new tailgate with a heated window and wiper. Haven't got wiper working yet, but the rest is fine. Still haven't carpeted back out either :?

Diff is ok now i think. It's actually been back twice. First time it gave up completely on my way up to have the noise looked at and the second time it was whining on acceleration but to be fair to them they sorted it out no bother and actually gave me money towards my fuel. We all have jobs that for whatever reason go pear shaped I guess my van was theirs. I used 18mm ply for the floor then bought some non slip flooring like they used in hospitals etc. They do it in loads of colours as well but where I had the seats fitted before there are holes in it so once it's all finished I may replace it again. It's really hard wearing. I've carried engines and stuff in the back straight on the floor without it marking or damaging it. Kills Stanley blades in seconds when you cut it though ! I looked at putting a rear window in the tailgate but it's a a bit further down the list of things to be done.

Also got the rock and roll bed back in on the unwin rails so it can be taken out, moved backwards or forwards or even turned to be rear facing.

Couldn't find any pictures of it all apart sorry. Basically the middle of the roof (the black bit) is flat. I put timber in from side to side to screw that to. Then I screwed 2x1 going from front to back to the black bit that I'd wrapped in carpet. I have 2x1 screwed to the wall and then it's 12mm ply between the 2 it's easy to take off if you want to run more cables etc in.
