Wow nice warm day and cracked in with van. Cut both boxes off in about half hour then been using arc welder for the first time all day.
Was given a 140amp sip ine by a relative and about 500 rods so will be sprted for a while. Learnt to arc weld by the first 20 min. Scratch it like striking a match.
The bracjets bolted to chassis but towbar doesnt marry up with holes in bottom of bracket so i thought fk it a d welded the 2 bits together...

Didnt realise how long it would take so got last 2 runs to do then all seams will be totally welded and holes plug welded.
Gonna be fun refitting it it's fkn heavy!

Then to think about exhausts.
May even end up poking one out each side behind the rear wheels !

Bars all welded up and bolted up in place...

Gonna chop off the lower flange to give bit more clearance. Plus new springs should bring up at least 2 inch!

Now for the electrics then more welding for exhausts or poss just one today as may need to use pipe

Already on that... either fix wet fumes or get a cover to put on whilst towing! Seen aprons for front of caravans!

Wiring all done and tested too btw. Panicing as thought fault on fog wire but turns out emma was pushing wrong button hahaha
