So no more work done to meanie other than offering up the new x pipe which arrived few days ago. Weds is d day as will be refitting the exhausts and the x pipe too so cant wait to hear the new burble from the pipes as all 4 breathe for each of the 6 cylinders! Ooh yeah... Whilst i was under the van i thought id see if i could find the fabled reverse light wiring and plug as pocket rocket kindly traced his from gearbox when he had his van on its side.. didnt find it as suspect was chopped out during the rebuild of meanie....but... Looking at hego (left) sensor wiring saw a ding in wore sleeve...touched it and plug fell out pf socket!!! Could this be the reason left bank always ran rich ??? Hmmm Find out soon i guess!

Fired her up today (meanie) to move caravan onto drive , shift tent sideways bout 10 feet then put van back in. The combination of a shed load of fire putty and exhaust blow tape and metal bandages seems to have sorted blows on both legs into X pipe. Now only exhaust noise is from the back and she sounds bloody awesome. Cant wait to have a boot up the dual carriageway to hear it under load!!
Even aaron shouts "rev it up daddy!"
