Great spec van 8) i have never seen so many "with" options..!

Outside temperature function can be added, provided you have the Ford IDS tool or know someone who does, then its case of fitting some high spec speedo/clocks, the temperature sensor itself & getting the modified software loaded in via IDS.. also the new clocks must ideally have lower mileage recorded than the existing ones other wise IDS wont be able to synchronise them.. in some cases one wire needs adding from temp sensor to body control module & sometimes a new BCM itself but on your spec van probably not... cruise control can be added also , look up the transit clocks / snowflake thread for more info

for egr/dpf deletes, power tuning, updates,cloning,speed limiter removal,cruise control, euro 3/4/5/6 limiters & key's !

Hi what do you use the van for ? The cylinders in the back are they for gas or something ? Seems you have everything apart from 4x4 ??

Could you do a fellow member a favour ? I would like to fit the fuel fired aux heater onto my transit.

Is there any chance you could take a few photos of yours so I can see how it's plumbed in and where they fit the unit from factory ??

I have parts pictures but they don't really point out much of where the hoses go !

Be really helpful if you wouldn't mind doing it

Hi farsalvage!

I can take some pics, because I have to change my vans unit in to a working one. The one that is assembled in to a van, is not working.

Luckily there was a working unit in my scrap body

P.S. Can you tell me, what is the price range in UK for used Eberspächers / Webastos? Here you check price range in Finland.

For MK6's:

http://www.varaosahaku.fi/fi-fi/Hae/Osat/Ford/FORD-TRANSIT/2000_2006/Jäähdytyslaitteet-&-Lämmityslaitteet/Diesellämmitin/Kaikki/

And for MK7's:

http://www.varaosahaku.fi/fi-fi/Hae/Osat/Ford/FORD-TRANSIT/2006_2013/Jäähdytyslaitteet-&-Lämmityslaitteet/Lisälämmityslaite/Kaikki/

There is some difference in wiring between, but you can make them work vice versa. For example I will have in future MK7 heater in my MK6.

hi, that would be really helpful if you can take photos for me... so far ive never managed to find a secondhand coolant heater kit for a transit in this country...

the eberspacher d5ws new is £500 pounds now. this is just the heater, the fitting kit is another £190.00 . eberspacher don't make retro fit kit for the ford transit rear wheel drive. they used to do one for the 2.2 front wheel drive but they've stopped that now. see link http://www.heatso.com/eberspacher-hydro ... ne-heater/

someone on ebay is selling webasto 5kw heater with the pump and timer etc which is refurbished..

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252218837064&seller=&toolid=10018&58927491" rel="nofollow">http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Webasto-Therm ... Swe7BWxPK4

if the link doesn't work try ebay.co.uk and the item number https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252218837064

I tried to buy a heater secondhand for a transit from a company in Poland but they didn't want to know...

these are really helpful! thanks... so the heater sits under the van then I thought they were on the inner wing somewhere... have you got the rear heater in your van as well.??. on the microcat diagrams it looks like there is some metal pipes than join onto the heater and then go up to the front of the van somewhere

..http://eucatparts.com/imgbank/cat/fo/01 ... 921303.jpg

I cant seem to find where these pipes join into the original cooling system.. I know yours is the 3.2 where I have the 2.4 but can you see on your van where the pipes join onto the engine???

MORE POWER

ecu remaped and dyno tested before and after

max was 205.7 HP@3468 rpm and 481,5 Nm@2528 rpm
max now 226,5 HP@3703 rpm and 534,1 Nm@2388 rpm

max was 481Nm@2528 rpm now same Nm @~2130...2150rpm so ~400...380 rpm earlier

~between 1900...2250 rpm the growth was ~120Nm

my bus is service on wheels and full equipped so the weight is maximum (3500 kg) 24/7 it means torque is what i need

PS. there is some reserve more
