Fitted a Dixie horn to the roof rack, just need to make some mounting brackets,
WP_20170507_15_15_32_Pro.jpg

Sorted the wiring and heat shrunk the connection (am proud of that :D )
WP_20170520_14_30_17_Pro.jpg

The switch I used so I can fit it too a pull cord type thing, bit like they have in the big rigs
WP_20170518_18_30_09_Pro.jpg

All wired in the van now, live spliced and soldered into the 12v lighter socket under the dash with its own inline fuse, the result

I must say I am rather quite pleased with myself  N

Thinking about some exhaust stacks like these
http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-5-Polished-1- ... nav=SEARCH
To run down the sides, instead of side bars and have them exit just before the rear wheels.
I have also priced up some Weller or modular wheels 40 sovs each new. N

Horn switch location,
WP_20170527_17_05_58_Pro.jpg

I can start planning the roof lining colour and style.
New location of going backwards screen, that bugger wont fall off now,
WP_20170527_17_07_27_Pro.jpg

Also need to order some blue leds for the plastic step covers to come on when the doors are open. N

Wired in an old volt meter gauge I had lying around for years, I can now keep my eye on the battery, especially when all the lights are on,
WP_20170528_15_59_28_Pro.jpg

It should change colour but I cant remember which wire did what for the light, 14.v with the van running so not bad.

Also been looking for some new injectors on the intergalactic highway, what a pain that is to find the correct ones that don't require me selling my soul to the prince of darkness. N
