Went on without a hitch and the fitting kit despite being 72 shekels is an absolute must!

Only slight but i don't like is the front corner piece is a bit deformed and i couldn't modify it because it has been painted and I'd have made it look w***
I may take it off if it bugs me but for now I'm happy, i hate seeing dirty cill lip so now I'm smiling as it is hidden

Thanks, made up with the skirts only took about an hour and no mess i might add! Just offer the sill clips up, sticky sponge and pu18 on the top lip them gently press on

I think that is to do with a spare being the wrong size and causing abs problems isn't it? Unless an 18" just won't fit in the back? But I'll bet it is that Ford wouldn't stick an alloy spare in there for money reasons?

That's much better, are they made of plastic for those clips to fit ? You know thin? Or good old fiberglass ?

Think about it dudes .. When was the last time you needed to use your spare?
I don't have one on my arsewasher either as there's a water tank where the spare should be
And in 3 vans and 60 years I have never needed a spare
And in the same time I am on my 3rd swb van there's only once I have needed to put the spare on
But that doesn't count as the tyre got damaged on a dirty Spanish road
It just don't happen on our well kept English highways

I would tink a 18 inch wheel would fit underground as a mk7 16 incher is bigger overalls than the sporting profile 18 inch
And a 16 fits the undercarriage of a mk7 swb
Won't fit under billy though as there's a hy performance scaffolding tube exhaust up there

Your right who needs a spare, us Englishmen certainly don't, I don't carry one simply because the crappy thing that holds it to the van was broken so I binned it the holder not the wheel, that's in my garden.

But as we all know certain parts of Scotland you need to carry at least 4 spares

I was think the same about the overall wheel size, and I believe red vans only have half an exhaust so the spare should fit N
