Going to have to get myself a couple of them, hope its easy to do as am a bit dumb when it comes to electrics, I'll probably end up with the wipers activating instead of the windows closing N

It's looking quite simple at the moment but i think my interface it's broken because it isn't latching
Fortunately i have another bit it is in loots lost and found at work, suppose i best get it eh

I leave my van front doors locked back doors wide open and the front windows down an inch or 2 so self closing windows are not for billy, I like to let excess gasses out

Used a hair dryer in the 240v outlet with the engine running to heat up the hilti vinyl on the roof and remove it makes a hell of a difference with it hot, cold and it just shatters, got and it came off in large pieces, had to partially lie with 1 leg along the roof and the other on the Hilti chair in the side. Lucky i had the pram rails to hold.
Bit annoyed because the rear rubber bung has had a sharp blade around it to install the vinyl and there is brown there which I'm going to lacquer over once i clean it.

Found some turtle wax compound in the garage new in the tub, might have a little look see

My invertor is only 1000w so no abuse it cuts off

At least you only had the roof I got the whole thing, and it's not responding very well to the heat , still breaks off in tiny little pieces.

Thanks for the suggestions guys , would have tried it today . But made the most of the sunshine and did the 2 lower wishbones.

Careful with this because the circuit swaps continuity
My relay is a dummy and can be actuated 1 polarity or the other and it is a single circuit.

I've looked and i think i just need a small capacitor 47k which will store power and hold the relay open for a second which will make it work and then to for 1 maybe 2 diodes to protect the capacitor from reverse voltage on double lock.

Doesn't work if i add a diode or resistor for protection although i was using a 20v dyson battery to test.
No diode or resistor and it works, ironically it works in both polarity
It stayed cold the correct polarity but got hot in reverse, that said i had to keep actuating it with 20v for it to get hot, it states 105c (probably safe limit)

It works on the van, there's less voltage than the battery but it still works, one unlock opens the mirrors and double lock closes the mirrors.

I have to install it into the van now and try it out for a bit.

All back together, system is dead when no buttons pressed, lock sends a 0.5s positive pulse to activate door locking actuator, and again for lock and again for deadlock, there's 2 motors, 1 moves forward for lock, 2 move forward for double lock then both reverse for unlock.

Finished, works fine, unlocked the boot and the mirrors opened then i pressed front unlock and they started open

I'll do more testing in everyday life but i think it is all good.

Have put the door card back on but am waiting for the electric window automatic roll up module to arrive, even tho motorworld man said there's no such thing and i need to go home and Google it and do my homework
