Got some work done on the floor over the past few days as well.

Did the front section first
image.jpeg

Gave it day to dry properly then shifted my tools and crap up front and this afternoon I started on the back section

Angle grinder with a flap disc made short work of the loose paint and surface rust and then slapped a bit of rust converter about
image.jpeg

Gave that a few hours to do its thing and then gave it a good coat of red oxide
image.jpeg

This picture was actually taken at about 930 when it was dark, 2 led strip lights are enough to light up all of the back, I've got another 2 of the strip lights in the garage so might fit them as well

And no they haven't named the van yet which is unusual for them

Got back from Wales at 6 this evening, sorted house stuff and sorted food for the dog and children and then went out to finish the floor

Ran out of blue so had to do the last bit in black

Received a new side door lower roller and rear door lower catch in the post this morning so got the rear door catch fitted. Found the cable, plug and broken bulb in the bottom of the door from the brake light so need to sort that as well now but couldn't find anything to shove down through the door to pull the cable back up.

Found the tow bar is wired in with scotchlocks, but also another plug that I think is for reversing sensors

Plug behind drivers side rear light

Old door catch which was swished and the new one

Not done a great deal other than drive it.

Leak off test done today

Injectors 2 isn't great but 4 is definitely knackered

Inlet manifold removed and cleaned, forgot the before picture but to be honest it wasn't too bad

Replaced the front interior cab light with one from a Mondeo, much brighter and the map lights are useful.

Also bought some ply to finish off the floor

These just a case of cutting head lining and connecting the wires?
Any photos of the wires behind ? Or to simple for photos?

Yeah just a case of cutting the headlining. I held the light fixing ring in place and drew around the inside of it, cut it out with a Stanley knife.
Wiring is straight forward, 3 short bits of wire with a male spade at one end and female at the other end to connect the light to the original wiring or you can cut the original connectors off and replace with female spades

Not much done recently due to lack of time but got my reversing camera monitor fitted

IMG_7209.JPG

IMG_7211.JPG

Used the monitor that I already had, couple of m6 bolts, couple of 25mm threaded balls, bit of timber and a ram mount connector

Just need to fit my camera now

Wiring loom repaired properly, was causing all kinds of electrical odd goings on

IMG_7615.JPG

Had a leak from the turbo oil feed pipe, got new washers to fit and then found it's actually the fitting on the end of the pipe

IMG_7642.JPG

There goes £110 at the dealers :x
