5 ltr silver - 1 ltr radiant red - 2 ltrs barcoat , da all over to get blue off, all done outside on dry days,ImageImage

thanks, i took all side and rear windows out and made rubber gaskets, refitted before painting, it came from a convent in south wales, i think the nunns brush painted it dark blue, hard work removeing it all,

i bet them nuns went raving it to :lol: :lol:
they say its the quitest ones thats the worst :lol: :lol: :lol:

i wouldnt liked to try taking it off a van that size.i have a 1963 vw beach buggy which ill start when the van is done and that has also been hand painted blue i wonder if that came from a convent too :lol:
ive got about 50% off with the pressure washer the other just dont want to move.im not looking forward to taking it off either:)

the body was easy just da, the cab was by hand, special primer for alloy, that paint wont come off easy either, just got to get mpg up now only doing 38/40 on a run, the autohome i swoped for this did well over 40. got to flat and buff it yet, G3 best i think.

thats not bad mpg is it. mines a 2.5di and dont think im getting id say im getting about 25 ish to the gallon

might be cos i dont go over 60 anywhere, still try to get mpg up if i can,

not shure about the 2ltr pinto yet but the gauge dont move as much ! :lol: :lol:
