Ye.. Was thinking about making 5 new wires, bypassing the old ones. I have a spare connector for the actuator, so I can make them "in advance" and just split the cable close to the PCM. Or even better, find those small connectors that go in the PCM and make them all new... Can I buy them somewhere?

When you replaced the pcm can you say that it has the correct software on it, the 140 has the vnt and lower ones have manual wastegate, this might account for the incorrect feedback.

I replaced it using the IDS. As I remember it took a copy and wrote it on to the replacement PCM..

The Ford mechanic still believes, until proven otherwise, that it has something to do with the actuator.
He tells me, that he has experienced, that the ebay ones does not work.

The wires a measured and as he said, they gor tested with a light bulp, and could all turn on a H7 bulp, which should indicate that the wires are ok.

The dealer he works at, have 4 different lokations and he will call the other garages to hear if they have an actuator lying around or maybe a customer from whom I can try and borrow an original to see if that makes a difference... I doubt it But nice service.

The mk7 actuator has multiple connections and it relies on 3 pin potentiometer to give reference signals back to the pcm and other components, all a bulb tester can do is register a circuit.

I'm sure if you took it to Ford they'd have pin point tests they they can do, personally I'd be looking at fitting your actuator to another van, clear codes then take it for a spin and see if the same code as your van returns.

Yes, I´m in search for a van similar to mine, to see if I can make a quick swap, and se how it goes.

Well something is actually changed...
Driving home last night, it felt like the van was behaving really well. I still was driving was the rod off the actuator. But I did not get that drop in power at 60 mph and it could accelerate all the way up (not fast, but still)
So I pulled in and tried to fit the rod again... and what do you know... It worked... Still I get drop outs and I ended up driving around for 1,5 hours and it works on and off. I can have power for 10 seceonds, like in 1, 2. and third gear, and then it´s gone when going in to 4th... and it never returns... If I turn it off and back on, it´s back again... until it dissapears... Very odd, and I could never do that with the first actuator.
I did experience the p2563 error, but was able to clear it, and it did not return.

So from this, it could actually look like it is the actuator..? This is what I experience too... viewtopic.php?t=175637 - mine keeps coming back though.

So to find an original would be so nice, just to try...
