MK7 Camper Conversion - MyVanWe2.0

Postby bobson6 » Wed Mar 08, 2017 1:51 pm

Bought myself a 56 plate MK7 with 60,000 on her, no rust as it has been in Spain for a long time. Body has a few dinks but these will be ironed out with time. The plan is to turn her into a three birth camper/day van. Some photos of the progress so far.

So far I have insulated, had windows fitted, lined the roof and built most of the bunk and bike storage area at the back of the van. Wiring is in for the LED lights and most of the carpet has been fitted.

some future jobs:
Flooring
Pull out bed
Kitchen unit
Leisure battery and mains hook up
Wind deflectors
Colour coded mirrors
Alloys
Tow bar
Fiamma Awning
Possibly fit sport kit
intergrated sat nav/DVD player
Speakers in the back
Pull out rear awning

Been a while since I posted some progress pictures up.

Added solar panel, split charge, built the kitchen unit and installed SMEV hob. Foam all in for beds, floor carpeted, overhead storage face plate done. main hook up, running water, and gas supply sorted. But still feels like there is a mountain to climb to get it finished
