if you want to do the front ifs conversion being a mk3 yours is easier - ive done it to mk1/2 vans but if you get a mk3 swb (not mk4 or 5) front end it will all just bolt up the only thing you will need to fabricate is the front subframe rear mountings as the lwb's didnt have them on - i've done a thread on here with some info and i seem to remember a member did a mk3 ifs conversion too
Yes it was a twin wheeler, it's worth doing at 70 mph it sits at 2200 rpm.
I take it the SWB Mk3 has a steering box, I was hoping to fit a Mk5 to get rack and pinion steering.
Does the LWB van have bigger front discs than the SWB?
