made some more progress on the new (old) exhzorst refit

whats happened to the forum, never had to resize pics in the past, and it posts them offset

so ive remade the single box to go on the back and also rebuilt the 2 into 1 before the axle,
so it should sound as it did before, I hope
need to section the gearbox crossmember next, as its dragging over the speedhumps now

so we got the new zorst on the van at last, back to nice quiet cruising, new springs are still a bit too low, still need to sort that, but I can use it, we went to the second rwyb at weald and the escort is now broke, so that's that for this season,
I'm now back to playing with the hotrod

so ive been smoking the ol banger to and from work, and noticed a noise from the rear brakes, quick nosey underneath revealed brake fluid pissing out the offside rear brake
had to buy 2 pairs of wheel cylinders as there is a couple of choices, all done, onto the next fix

had a bit of a moment yesterday on the way back from picking up the spannermonkey from work, ended up going over the level crossing at roydon, trouble is its not very level, grounded the front and the back at the same time right in the middle then the lights started to flash, oooooooooopps
need to gain a bit of height me thinks

I had a chat with jono the other day, he was telling me about a mk3 he had, where the rear bumper was near his waist(f*** high arse end) my reply was, mines closer to me ankle, so theres the pic
i'll get another pic up tomoz.

so one of the slammed mods was to chop the lower part off the gearbox crossmember , as it drags over speedumps







wont be dragging that any more
