ordered a waste tank today :D
it's going to fit behind the o/s rear wheel dimensions are (W)27cm, (D) 48cm, (H)17cm it's only 20 litres :? but i think that should be ok - if im on a site for a while i might have to drain it a few times but i dont tend to stay in one place for long :D

Not really any progress - but suns out so i'm back on with it - mainly doing the engine conversion, documented in another thread here viewtopic.php?f=13&t=150246&start=150

but i'm swapping the fuel tank for an aluminium one and ive just measured the fuel gauge sender so thought i'd write the readings down here so as not to loose them

tank empty 70 ohm
tank full 12 ohm - i assume this could be 0

the engine conversion is 95% done - running driving mot'd etc but just a few minor things to sort but i'll update those in the engine thread

today i have been back working on the camper conversion
i want to have 3 seats in the front, the seats need to fold forward to allow the backs of them to be used for sitting at the table
i was going to build seat frames from scratch but ive decided to use 2 transit mk5 drives seat backs - this will make them more comfortable but also allow them to recline and the middle one to fold forward to allow access to the back (from the front)
it's quite easy to make a bracket so the seat tilts forward but the issue i have is i need the seat to go all the way forward as the front seat base converts to my bed after a lot of cutting cardboard templates i have what i think will work - i'll make a video when it is done but all i have now is this picture

the seat back that is lying down is what i'll be using but it wont be in that position - my table will be there :D

made a start today - cut the brackets out these should hinge on the floor there will be another bracket that hinges forward :D

they are just rough cut with the plasma - i'll neaten them up after - no point wasting time doing that now in case for any reason they are wrong or dont work correctly :)
